Quick Update

I have felt soo guilty about not updating my blog over the last 3 weeks--funny that I have managed to update it 3 times since Christmas. I guess being a new mom and trying to get ready for the holidays had taken up a lot of my time. Emma also has much more awake time--leaving me less time to catch up on emails, read, clean and blog when she is asleep. I have been able to take advantage of having Trav home on vacation and have gotten a lot of things checked off of my "to do" list. I always have good intentions to update weekly, but I would not bet any money on it getting done in the future :)

Fun at the Park with Camie and Mia
Mia was trying to figure out how to pump her legs like the big girls next to her. At one point, she even looked at Camie and asked her to please go away--she is getting way more independent!!!

Mia, Emma and I--Emma loved being outside in the beautiful weather. Mia said that she thought Emma would like going down the slide, she would even hold her hand. Hmmm...maybe nextime :)

Emma showing off her knee high socks. She has more cute, fun socks that a 2 month old should--she is like her mother :)

This is how Emma sleeps 99% of the time. She looks like she is meditating.

Bathtime Fun---Em's hair is starting to get long enough on top to start sticking up when we wash it. She has plenty of hair on the back of her head...we are now waiting for the top to start coming in. In the sunlight we have been seeing glimmers of red in her eyelashes and hair---do we have a little redhead on our hands?

Wonderful Watchdog--Bodhi has been great since we brought Emma home. He has done a lot of sniffing and has inspected the little creature who makes a lot of noise. He just is soooo big, that when he goes in for a sniff it looks like he could eat her in one bite.

Sooooo Sleepy.... Em has been doing a wonderful job at going to bed each night. I have been getting about 6 or 6.5 hours of uninterrupted sleep. I am loving it!!!

Hmmmmm.....Little Thinker.
Emma will be 2 months old on January 5th. I am anxious to see how she has grown--not so excited about the shots :(
